PreSys for NISA Version R3 Release

November 21, 2011— Cranes Software, Inc. is pleased to announce availability of ETA's finite element modeling program, PreSys™ for NISA™ suite of CAE software. The PreSys™ R3 release will allow NISA™ users to take advantage of its modern user interface, CAD interoperability, as well as its superb graphics capabilities. The integration of these software products will deliver an improved experience for engineers who need to build complex finite element models for static, dynamic and thermal analysis.

PreSys™ R3 has a long list of new or improved features, with one of the most exciting additions being the availability of ‘Part Groups’ which allow the user to drag and drop parts into a group that can be used for visualization, as well as property and boundary condition definitions. A Part Groups demo can be viewed online. “This feature will provide another productivity boost for our users,” comments Tim Palmer, PreSys Product Manager. “Users are able to quickly create and assign groups and change the various attributes of these groups - reducing the number of operations required.”

PreSys R3 also has improved surface data handling and editing features, which allow users to create or modify CAD data within the software.  For a complete list of new/improved features, please view the Release Notes.
