Description
The ‘All India NISA Users Conference 2007’ is an annual event which is being organized by Cranes Software International Limited for the first time after taking over as the new principals of NISA. Cranes Software International limited is one of the leading scientific and engineering software and solutions provider internationally. Many of its proprietary and third-party products like NISA, SYSTAT, Sigma Plot, MATLAB, dSPACE and Nucleus are used extensively by many Indian Defense Labs, PSU’s in Power Generation and Civil Engineering, Corporate’s and Educational Institutions.
Scope
This conference is designed to act as an interactive forum for the past and present users of NISA to see and discuss; new features and developments in NISA and plan for future versions. It will also serve as an opportunity for select users to present their research, results and ideas in the area of FEA.
Speakers
Eminent engineers & scientists from Government, Corporate and Academic institutions will be invited to present and be part of panel discussions. Watch this space for more information on them.

Dr. Gangan Prathap has been with CSIR centre for Mathematical Modelling
and computer simulation from 2000 till now. Earlier from (1978-2000),he was with
Aerospace Laboratories. He has a BTech (Aero Engg) and PhD (Aero Engg) from IIT,
Madras. His interest are in computational Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis,
Aerostuctures and History and Philosophy of Science.
