Structural analysis and design of a dry fabric seal type gas holder

A project was undertaken to conduct stress analysis and design of a Dry Fabric Seal Type Gas Holder (Capacity 30000 m3).

The 3D FEM model of the main structure and piston were created separately. The structure was analyzed and designed for a range of Dead Loads, Live Loads, Wind Loads and Seismic Loads. Also, it was analyzed and designed for a working pressure of 200 Kg/ Sqm.
